Jesus Christ warned about “false Christs” and people who say “I am Christ” in the end times.
Matthew 24:4-5 (KJV) – “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”
Matthew 24:23-24 (KJV) – “Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
These warnings apply to Catholic priests because according to the Catholic catechism, Catholic priests act “in persona Christi” which means “in the person of Christ,” so in other words, Catholic priests are false Christs!
CCC 1548 - "In the ecclesial service of the ordained minister, it is Christ himself who is present to his Church as Head of his Body, Shepherd of his flock, high priest of the redemptive sacrifice, Teacher of Truth. This is what the Church means by saying that the priest, by virtue of the sacrament of Holy Orders, acts in persona Christi Capitis: It is the same priest, Christ Jesus, whose sacred person his minister truly represents. Now the minister, by reason of the sacerdotal consecration which he has received, is truly made like to the high priest and possesses the authority to act in the power and place of the person of Christ himself (virtute ac persona ipsius Christi). Christ is the source of all priesthood: the priest of the old law was a figure of Christ, and the priest of the new law acts in the person of Christ."
In the NIV perversion of the Bible, Christ’s warning against false Christs like the Catholic priests is changed, therefore covering up for the antichrist-spirited Catholic priesthood!
Matthew 24:5 (NIV) – “For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.”
Matthew 24:23-24 (NIV) – “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”
The NIV removes Christ’s warning about false Christs. Catholic priests don’t claim to be the messiah, but they do claim to be Christ. The NIV is covering up for the Catholic priesthood, and untimely the the Antichrist who will likely be a Pope, and the Pope claims to be Christ as well!
These modern versions are satanic and cover up for the satanism that goes on in Roman Catholicism.
