Interracial Marriage Is Fornication

Interracial Marriage Is Fornication

1 Corinthians 10:8 (KJV) – “Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.”

This is a reference to an event back in the Old Testament, which is why it says “as some of them committed.”

Numbers 25:1-9 (KJV) – “And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. 2 And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. 3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel. 4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel. 5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor. 6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; 8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel. 9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.”

Notice how 1 Corinthians 10:8 says that 23,000 fell “in one day” while Numbers 25:9 doesn’t so “in one day” so, in other words, 1 Corinthians 10:8 is saying how many fell during that event in a single day and Numbers 25 is simply saying how many fell in total, that is why a different number is given. So  1 Corinthians 10:8 is not a contradiction or describing another event from Numbers 25:1-9.

The sin being committed was interracial marriage, that is why it mentions that Israel began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab, and that one of the Israelites brought a Midianitish woman into his tent (which was a lawful marriage procedure), interracial marriage was being committed. Notice how Paul says that the sin being committed in Numbers 25:1-9 was fornication. In other words, interracial “marriage” is fornication.

The Gift Of Tongues Were Known Languages NOT The Demonic Gibberish The Charismatics And Pentecostals Do

A common heresy and lie from the devil filled Charismatics and Pentecostals is that tongues = gibberish babbling. In reality, this demonic gibberish babbling is the result of devil possession, it’s not of the Lord.

Biblical speaking in tongues were KNOWN LANGUAGES, they were not the demonic gibberish that the Charismatics and Pentecostals do.

Acts 2:1-3 (KJV) – “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”

It’s worth pointing out that the tongues were “like” as of fire, they were not “of fire” as the demonic Charismatics and Pentecostals claim.

Acts 2:4-5 (KJV) – “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.”

It’s also worth noting that every time the gifts of the spirit are being performed, there are always unbelieving Jews present, the sign gifts were for the Jews (1 Cor. 1:22), Christians don’t need sign gifts because we have the completed word of God.

Acts 2:6 (KJV) – “Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.”

Tongues are LANGUAGES, not the demonic babbling and gibberish that the Charismatics do.

Another common tactic of the Charismatic heretics is to run to verses in 1 Corinthians 12 and 1 Corinthians 14 to prove unknown tongues.

in 1 Corinthians 12 and 1 Corinthians 14, the tongues are still known languages because there is an interpreter there to translate what’s being said.

1 Corinthians 12:10 (KJV) – “To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.”

1 Corinthians 12:30 (KJV) – “Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?”

1 Corinthians 14:13 (KJV) – “Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.”

1 Corinthians 14:27-28 (KJV) – “If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.”

Speaking in tongues are always KNOWN languages, they are not the satanic blabbering and gibberish that the Charismatics do.

God Chastens Those Who Are Living In Sin

The word of God teaches that God chastens those who he loves.

1 Corinthians 11:28-29 (KJV) – “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.”

sinning leads to “eating and drinking damnation” (note: it’s not damnation in the sense of losing your salvation, it’s damnation in the sense of being punished in the flesh by God).

1 Corinthians 11:30 (KJV) – “For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.”

Paul is talking to saved people (hence why he says “among you”). They were people having problems with their health as a result of “eating and drinking damnation.” There were even some among them that died as a result of “eating and drinking damnation” (hence why Paul says “and many sleep”).

1 Corinthians 11:31-32 (KJV) – “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.”

Paul makes it clear that God will chasten those, but they won’t be condemned to the world. 1 Corinthians 11:32 lines up with 1 Corinthians 5:5.

1 Corinthians 5:5 (KJV) – “To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.”

When someone is too far into sin, they will get chastened and they might even get delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh (ties back to why Paul said “and many sleep” in 1 Corinthians 11:30), the body of flesh is destroyed but the spirit is saved (hence why Paul says “that the spirit may be saved”), an example of this can be found in 1 Timothy 1:19-20.

1 Timothy 1:19-20 (KJV) – “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.”

The self-righteous conditional security heretics will try and use this to prove that you can lose your salvation, which is a complete twisting of what is going on. When Paul talks about the faith being made shipwreck, he is simply saying that there were people who messed up their lives and spiritual walk by sinning (contrary to what the Catholic-Calvinist conditional security heretics say, spiritual walk and salvation are NOT the same things. Salvation is a once and done event, the spiritual walk is a lifetime process), Paul confirms this by saying that Hymenaeus and Alexander were delivered to Satan, they didn’t lose their salvation because lost people don’t need to be turned over to Satan because Satan already has them, they were delivered to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so the spirit may be saved (1 Corinthians 5:5).

1 Corinthians 5:5  also ties into 1 Corinthians 13:16-17

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (KJV) – “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”

When somebody defiles their body (the temple of the Holy Ghost), God will destroy that person, their flesh will be destroyed so the spirit may be saved.

The fact is that living in sin will lead to chastening from God. The chastening of God can be very severe at times, you can lose your health, you can lose rewards at the judgement seat, and you can even lose your life if you are too much into sin.

Debunking An Article From Catholic Answers Regarding The Authority Of The Church Over Scripture

I was reading an article from Catholic Answers and the article proved that Roman Catholics deny the Bible and prefer to submit to fallible men rather than to the scriptures. Roman Catholics don’t believe the Bible, the Catholic Church had added pagan man-made traditions, many of which contradict the word of God (Matt. 15:1-9), and claimed that the church decreed them. For any devout Catholic, if the Church says something then it makes it official doctrine, but for a devout Bible-believer, if the scriptures say something then it makes it official doctrine, that is one of the biggest differences between Roman Catholic pagans and born again Bible-believing Christians.

I will show some excerpts from the Catholic Answers article, and you will see that they openly deny that the Bible is inspired by God.

"Catholics are often accused of arguing in a “vicious circle,” proving the Bible by the Church, and the Church by the Bible. We must be careful to avoid this by explaining that we put the Church before the Bible because the Church existed first and wrote and compiled the Bible. The authority of the Bible depends on that of the Church. Then we use the Bible to prove the Church; we use it not as an inspired volume, but merely as a historical document. From the Gospels as historical documents we learn that Christ founded a Church, but the authority of the Gospels as inspired writings rests on the word of the Church."

So according to Catholic Answers, the Bible depends on “the church,” so in other words, it’s not the church submitting to the Bible, the Bible submits to the church…

They also make the blasphemous claim that the Bible not an inspired volume. These Catholics are openly saying they don’t hold the Bible as given by inspiration of God, to them it’s only a “historical document” that proves “the church.” They prove that Catholics don’t believe the Bible thus denying the power of God (Mark 12:24).

But what saith the scriptures?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV) – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

They also claim that “the church existed before the Bible” which is a common lie from Catholics, and a cultic control tactic to get people submitting to the words of men (Popes, Priests, church councils, church decrees, papal bulls etc.) rather than to the word of God.

But what saith the scriptures? Did the word of God exist before “the church?”

Romans 3:1-2 (KJV) – “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.”

Acts 7:38 (KJV) – “This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us.”

The scriptures were given to the Jews, NOT to “the church.”

There are also references to “the scriptures” all throughout the New Testament, how can the apostles and Jesus Christ himself be saying “it is written” if there was no written scripture before “the church?” The phrase “it is written” is found 80 times in the Bible!

When a man of God speaks, he is to speak the oracles of God (notice how Paul and Peter only mention the scriptures, they don’t mention anything about “church tradition”)

1 Peter 4:11 (KJV) – If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

Hebrews 5:12
(KJV) – “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”

"The Scriptures themselves assert that they are incomplete and send us to the Church. “Many other signs also did Jesus . . . which are not written.” (John 20:30). “Thinkest thou that thou understandest what thou readest ?” . . . . “How can I, unless some man show me” (Acts 8:30, 31)."

The context of Acts 8:30-31 is Philip was instructed by God to meet this man and explain to him that Jesus was the lamb led to the slaughter (Acts 8:26-27), so Philip explained what just happened, and he quoted from scripture, not from “church tradition.” In no way does this teach that we have to rely on men to understand the Bible and that we can’t read the Bible on our own as the Catholics twist this verse to say.

John 20:30 was before the word of God was completed, there were still things that had to be revealed to the apostles, and the apostle Paul in particular, so using this to try and prove that we have to rely on “the church” to get doctrine is twisting this verse.

"Christ nowhere told men to go to a book to learn his doctrine. He himself wrote nothing down. But he did say to Peter: “Thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my Church” (Matt. 16:18); and to Peter and the rest of the apostles: “Go ye teaching therefore all nations” (Matt. 28:19). “He that hears you, hears me, he that despises you, despises me, he that despises me despises him that sent me” (Luke 10:16). The apostles went forth and taught according to Christ’s command."

Making such a claim shows a gross ignorance of the gospels. There are plenty of examples in the gospels where Jesus Christ referenced scripture and there are even instances where Jesus rebuked people for not reading the scriptures.

Matthew 21:42 (KJV) – “Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?”

Matthew 22:29-33 (KJV) – “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.”

John 5:39 (KJV) – “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

The bottom-line is that Roman Catholicism is a pagan cult. Roman Catholics have set aside the word of God for the traditions of men.

Finally, I will end off with scriptural warning about trusting in man.

Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV) – “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”

Psalms 118:8 (KJV) – “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Psalms 146:3 (KJV) – “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.”
